vav by mahlukat vav by mahlukat
sona eren bir çağın hatırası için. malihülya.

***

vav is the letter name in arabic and also in jewish which is ancient origin(probably syrian origin).[link])

and the double vav is the symbol of the "union of universe" in sufism, the islamic mystism which rooted from shamanic traditions. [link]

most of the figures which i added to composition, are the figures from turko-islamic traditions, which are unique in islamic world. this "uniqueness" comes from the turkish shamanic roots. they made some kind of synthesis with islam and shamanism.

description in turkish means that; for the memory of ending era... melancholy...

thank you so much, sorry for late answer, its double "vav", you can see this symbol everywhere where you can see sufi things, on gravestones, books, hand writed manuscripts, etc. pronunciation is "hu", it means, "breath". vav has numeric value 6. double vav is 66, 66 also numeric value of word "allah". so we can say; double-twin representation of god, like dark and light, like male and female... check out this [link] and this [link]

Thank you for that clear explanation...like the double attributes of everything...
and Thank you again for your other explanations linking the shamanic way in Sufism, very inspiring to finally express the actual practical magical Way that Sufism is...Gurdjieff always "buried the bone deeper" to make sure this 'double/way' of Sufism had to be 'worked for' in order to be touched...The Animal energies/powers in Turkish Sufism as in all Shamanism, really right on ...thanks again...
